Mark Mueller:
I have been a serious bicyclist since I was about 6 years old. In the
late 1970's I started modifying bicycles. Two projects were a prone recumbent
made of an extended ten speed and an off road bike made from a Western
Flier three speed and some cruiser wheels.
In the early 1980's I road many centuries and even a double century as
well as racking up the miles just riding around. At that time I rode diamond
frame bikes. My favorites were hand made steel frames that I outfitted
myself. At one point I owned 9 bicycles. Two of them were tandems and
they all ran nicely.
In 1986 I moved up to the Humboldt Bay Area and studied at Humboldt State
University, graduating in 1995 with a degree in Engineering, Alternative
Energy Systems.
In 1990 I continued making and riding recumbents. I also started playing
with fairings.

In 1998 I started making Windwrap Fairings. My first fairings were original
equipment for large recumbent manufacturers like BikeE, Vision, and RANS.
We now make complete fairing and mounting hard sets and sell to many
recumbent specific bike shops and directly to customers as well.
